Students will deep dive into the complex and beautiful world of color while we explore the cultural, scientific, and social history of different shades, dyes, and hues inspired by the book “The Secret Lives of Color.” We will create pieces in a variety of mediums from drawing, painting, mixed media, and sculpture as we hear fascinating stories about how humans discovered, made, and used these colors. How will you create with color this year?
