During our 4th-7th grade class students will build new artistic skill sets each session. Our first session will be focused on drawing in pencil, graphite, and a variety of other dry mediums. Session II will focus on advancing our painting skills using watercolor, gouache, and acrylic paints. Our final session, Session III, will allow students to work three dimensionally and in mixed media. Students will leave this year with lots of new information about materials, methods of creating, and ideas about who they are as artists.

4th-7th Grade Painting
During the school year students should bring a sketchbook (any size, partially used one is fine) and a smock (a large, old shirt works well). Sketchbooks are available for purchase for $6.95 + tax in The Art Studio.
Students are welcome to bring a drink (preferably water), but no food or sugary drinks to class.
